The University of Louisville Cardinal Singers under the direction of Kent Hatteberg will perform at the 2019 National Festival opening ceremony, and again in concert at St. John’s Church, Thursday March 14th at 7p.m.

The University of Louisville Cardinal Singers, under the direction of Kent Hatteberg, are highly respected by choral aficionados around the globe.  Founded in 1970, the University of Louisville Cardinal Singers continue their outreach mission locally, nationally, and internationally, offering workshops, performing at choral conventions, festivals, and symposia, and competing on the international stage. They have performed at nine regional and national choral conventions most recently in Dallas, Minneapolis, and Chattanooga.  Their extensive international touring has included such destinations as Taiwan, Singapore, Cuba, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Germany, and Estonia. Recent international highlights include winning Grand Prize at the 2018 Zadar International Choir Competition in Croatia and feature performances at the 2017 Xi’an International Choral Festival in China.
