The Music for All National Choir Festival is for advanced High School and Middle School Choirs who audition for invitation. Under the leadership of Henry Leck, Director of Choral Activities for Music for All, the festival has continued to surpass enrollment expectations and has demonstrated a proven educational model created by the artistic team.
“I am pleased to announce that students will experience side-by-side singing with the Aeolians in 2020. We endeavor to continue to create positively life-changing experiences for the festival, and our Artistic Committee is committed to aligning their choirs with our singers to create this educational and mentoring opportunity. I am excited about the Aeolians and our Associate Artistic Director, Jason Max Ferdinand premiering this opportunity,” stated Henry Leck, Director of Choral Activities for Music for All.
The Aeolians will appear in an exclusive concert for the participating choirs, provide an interactive master class, participate in rehearsal, and perform with the Music for All National Choir.
Held annually in Indianapolis Indiana, the Festival is part of the bigger Music for All National Festival that includes Concert Band, Orchestra, Percussion and Chamber Ensembles. To submit for participation, visit choir.musicforall.org.
EDITOR’S NOTE (MAY 7, 2019): Music for All is extremely grateful for the safety of Jason Max Ferdinand, Associate Artistic Director of the National Choir Festival, and his choir, the Oakwood Aeolians. The choir was in San Francisco for a concert when their tour bus was involved in a tragic accident, Saturday, May 4. All of our team at Music for All wish them a safe journey home to Huntsville.
